Meta’s new search engine doesn’t just follow the traditional link -based model : using advanced Natural Language Processing ( NLP ) techniques, the system will understand the user’s intent to provide direct and detailed answers, turning the interaction into a personalized dialogue. Meta hopes to use its expertise in machine learning to offer relevant and tailored results for each user.

Meta’s goal is to create a search that feels like a conversation. As Meta’s CTO explained , the new system could redefine online interaction with content: “We want search to be intuitive and personalized , like talking to a friend. We believe that artificial intelligence has the potential to reinvent the way we consume content.”
