Switch to Bing and win up to $1 million! Microsoft launches an initiative to encourage the use of its search engine.
Microsoft has launched an unprecedented campaign to promote Bing , its search engine, offering a prize pool of one million dollars for those willing to replace Google. The competition, open until December 31, 2024, also includes ten additional prizes of $10,000 each, reserved for users in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Puerto Rico.
Participating is simple: just log in with a Microsoft account or create a new one, earning your first points. To increase your chances of winning , Microsoft allows you to get extra points through actions such as sharing the promotional link with friends or adding the Microsoft Rewards extension .
In addition to the prizes for participants, Microsoft has promised to donate up to $500,000 to UNICEF and WWF . Each user who accumulates more than 50 points will contribute $5 to charitable causes.
Members can track their points by going to the Rewards page and checking the Order History section . However, members should note that registration can take up to 72 hours to complete.
The contest, dubbed the “Ultimate Giveaway,” is one of Microsoft’s most ambitious efforts to compete with Google by offering generous rewards to incentivize the use of Bing. The company hopes this approach will attract new users and increase the popularity of its search engine.
